President Roasts Aging Rocker For Overseas Concert Rant

President Donald Trump made it clear on Friday that Bruce Springsteen’s opinions are totally irrelevant to him.

After the aging rocker criticized the Trump administration during a concert in Manchester, England, this week, Trump took to Truth Social to fire back in a scathing rebuke.

“Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy,” Trump wrote about the “Born to Run” singer.

“Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country.”

Springsteen used his overseas concert to launch a scathing tirade against the Trump administration.

“In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration,” he began his unhinged rant.

“Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!” he said before performing his song “My City of Ruins.”

“There’s some very weird, strange, and dangerous s*** going on out there right now,” Springsteen added.

He leveled plenty of accusations against the Trump administration, including claims that U.S. citizens were being persecuted for dissent and free speech.

“In America, they are persecuting people for using their right to free speech and voicing their dissent,” he said.

The liberal singer also accused the administration of targeting illegal immigrants.

“They are removing residents off American streets and without due process of law, are deporting them to foreign detention centers and prisons,” he complained.

Springsteen claimed the administration took “sadistic pleasure” in hurting American workers and was reversing “historic civil rights legislation.”

“They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom,” he continued. “They are defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands.”

The remarks followed last month’s move by the Trump administration to freeze $2.2 billion in grants to Harvard University, citing the school’s refusal to meet federal conditions related to DEI mandates and protest policy reforms.

This week, the administration cut an additional $450 million in grants after the Ivy League school pushed back against the administration.

“The America that I’ve sung to you about for 50 years is real,” Springsteen said, “and regardless of its faults, is a great country with a great people. So we’ll survive this moment.”

Springsteen’s took a parting shot at U.S. lawmakers before he wrapped up his attack.

“A majority of our elected representatives” he claimed, have failed to “protect the American people from the abuses of an unfit president and a rogue government.”

“They have no concern or idea of what it means to be deeply American,” he added.

Trump responded by mercilessly mocking the 74-year-old rock star. “This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country,” Trump wrote, adding, “Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld also took aim at Springsteen’s remarks, noting that Trump “has annexed the territory of common sense.”

On The Five, Gutfeld said, “You have the Dems outside looking in, and they are convinced that it is just better to keep moving left than it is to just come join the fun, join the party, because they hate Trump so much.”

Gutfeld didn’t hold back about Springsteen’s cowardly decision to make his comments overseas.

Referring to the singer’s accusation of treason, Gutfeld called him “a p‑‑‑‑ for doing that in another country and not in America.”

The backlash continued online, where some social media users accused Springsteen of prioritizing his shows instead of providing entertainment.

“Bruce Springsteen has completely lost his mind,” one commenter wrote. “He goes full MSNBC instead of just playing the music people were there to hear. Entertainers are such narcissists.”

“Bruce Springsteen waited until his European tour to badmouth Trump,” another chimed in.

“Was he afraid of the response he would have gotten if he tried it here?? I will answer this for you, Yes. Coward move.”
